Strawberry Lemonade (using the Vitamix Aer)

Lemonade screams “Hello! I will bring a smile to your face!” Well, it doesn’t actually scream that, or say anything at all. But a lovely pink or vibrant yellow liquid is sure to induce reminiscing of childhood days.

Lemonade refreshes your mouth on a warm summer day. It also reminds you of summer when you’re bundled up during the colder months. If you have a special girl in your life, then she probably loves pink lemonade because…well, because it’s pink!

I love how fast and easy it was to design the perfect pink lemonade in my Vitamix Aer. I poured in the lemonade and added my strawberries, then I watched them magically whirl around as the flavors meshed together.

Although I only used strawberries this time, I can’t wait to add in fresh raspberries to make my drink even fruitier and a deeper pink color, too!

I happened to have organic lemonade already prepared. Don’t have lemonade in your pantry? No worries. You can easily create the same base using water, fresh lemons, and honey. There are no extra steps involved since the Vitamix Aer container will blend up your lemonade and add in the berry flavors all at one. Time saving and flavor creating are wins in my book!

Why wait for a Spring day to make lemonade. Invest in a Vitamix Aer container to enjoy the flavors of Spring all year long!

Strawberry Lemonade (using the Vitamix Aer)

Strawberry Lemonade (using the Vitamix Aer)

A refreshingly delightful strawberry lemonade is the best pick-me-up. Whip up this sweet drink in less than 5 minutes with the new Vitamix Aer container.

Ingredients

  • 2 cups of lemonade
  • 2-3 strawberries, hulled and quartered
  • 1 cup ice

Instructions

  1. Add all ingredients to the Vitamix Aer container.
  2. Blend on medium for 20-30 seconds, until the berries have infused into the lemonade and the ice is slightly crushed.
  3. Serve with a strawberry slice on the glass. Leave the strawberries in the lemonade for heightened flavor.

Notes

Don’t have lemonade? Substitute the 2 cups of lemonade in this recipe with 1 ½ cups of cold water, ¼ cup of cane sugar or honey or agave, and 1 lemon (with the ends cut off and then sliced into 4 pieces).

Use a combination of strawberries and raspberries for a fruitier flavor.
