The Eastman Tritan container

Redesigned 64 oz container blade

The the Vitamix 750 blender includes with the redesigned, low-profile 64 oz container. This shatterproof, BPA-free container has a soft-grip, ergonomic handle and is equipped with laser-cut, stainless-steel blades measuring 4″ in diameter.

The container also comes with a spill-proof vented lid. The lid has a removable twist-off center plug to allow you to add ingredients safely while the machine is running.

The shorter and wider design means that you’ll likely be able to store the base and container as one piece underneath your kitchen counters without a problem. This is not the case with the older models, they were just a bit too tall.

Even with the redesigned container, you may still need the tamper to help with blending extremely thick mixtures. The tamper helps drive ingredients into the blades and also prevents pockets of air from forming above the blades at higher speeds.

The Motor

The motor in the Professional Series 750 is approximately 40% quieter than most of the other Vitamix models. This powerful blender boasts a 2.2-peak horsepower motor and comes equipped with a radial cooling fan and thermal protection system. The increased horsepower means the Professional Series 750 can reach speeds of up to 270 miles per hour at full power without overloading or burning out.

The Controls

Professional Series 750 controls

The Professional Series 750 has made major improvements to the controls. This model preserves the well-known switch and dial configuration and includes the new pulse function, but now includes 5 presets: smoothies, frozen desserts, purees, hot soups, and cleaning. The presets use feedback from the blade resistance and a microprocessor to adjust the speed.

Save $170 off the cost of a new Professional Series 750 by purchasing the Certified Reconditioned Next Generation Programs package.

Vitamix 7500 vs 750

At first glance, the 7500 and 750 look very similar with the most obvious difference being the 750 costs $70 more. So what do you get for $70 more?

  1. Programs: The 750 has Programs, 5 to be exact. It helps automate your blending needs and makes it a repeatable process.
  2. Colors: Being a professional series blender, they also come in upscale finishes. Copper and Brushed Stainless are absolutely fantastic looking.  Except the Copper doesn’t cost $70 more, its actually $130 more!

Our Conclusion

The Vitamix Professional Series 750‘s enhanced controls, quieter, more powerful motor, and a redesigned container make this the perfect choice if you’re looking for the best blender on the market today. At the end of the day, some people are absolutely hung up on wanting a full stainless kitchen. If that is you, then the Vitamix 750 blender is the one to buy since you can’t get the 7500 in stainless. If the color choice isn’t that big a factor, then it boils down to whether $70 is worth it to get the 5 preset Programs. Personally, I didn’t think Programs would be all that useful, but both my wife and I use the Programs exclusively. So for me, if I were deciding between the 7500 750, I’d easily go with the Vitamix 750 blender just for the Programs alone, and as an added bonus I’d also get it in stainless.

It may cost a bit more than the other Vitamix models, but this blender will look right at home in any high-end kitchen.

  1. Hello,

I live in Belgium and would really like to buy a Vitamix pro 750 with the 5 presettings. Where can I buy this one?

thanks in advance for your reaction.
    with kind regards,

    Peggy

      1. Hi there…
I’m also interested in purchasing the vitamix 750 although they do not sell that model in Australia, would it be wise to purchase it from the states?

          Kyri,

You’ll need to use a voltage convertor for any model manufactured for the US market since the plug and voltage is different, and using one may void the warranty, something you’ll definitely want to avoid.

I have documented steps that you could take to purchase a US model and have it shipped to another country here, US to Canada, but the additional shipping will likely result in it being too expensive to justify the purchase.

          Hope that helps!

  2. I took me a while to talk myself into spending so much on a kitchen appliance but after reading all of the reviews about Vitamix, I got the feeling that this blender would last me forever, so I figured it was worth it.

The 750 is a top of the line blender that was worth every penny.

  3. I love this blender! I usually use it to make smoothies and it does a fantastic job! There is a preset for smoothies, as well as soups, frozen desserts, purees, and washes. I have only tried the smoothies and purees so far but both have worked like a charm. I simply throw in all the fruits and veggies whole, press the button and in a matter of seconds, I have a delicious smoothie!!! I also put yogurt in it, which I highly recommend.

  4. I highly recommended this blender if you like things that are simple to use.

If you are going to use your blender for making the same things day in and day out, like the same smoothie everyday or for your favorite meals then is probably the right model for you.

I’ve owned other Vitamix blenders in the past, and some very cheap ones before that, but this one is by far the best!
