Frozen Watermelon Daiquiri

When the weather is hot, you just want something cold, whether that’s a light beer, chilled white wine, or fresh lemonade. That’s why frozen beverages like a strawberry daiquiri or sangria are so popular in the Summer.

If you’re a fan of the well-known strawberry daiquiri, then you will love this homemade frozen watermelon daiquiri blended in your Vitamix! It’s icy and fruity and perfect to keep you cool.

First, de-seed your watermelon. Tiny tender white seeds aren’t an issue, since your blender will pulverize them. But be sure to remove all of the hard black seeds. It also doesn’t matter how large your watermelon chunks are before you toss them in the blender, as long as they are seedless.

Next, add a few tablespoons of simple syrup or honey to the blender. If you want your daiquiri to be extra sweet, feel free to add additional sweeteners. You can also mix in other fruits, such as strawberries or raspberries.

Don’t forget the dash of lime juice for a tropical punch and the rum (or alcohol of your choice). Finally, pour in 3 cups of ice.

Blend on high for 30 seconds to 1 minutes until the ice is chopped into fine bits. Pour into a glass, drink with a straw, and let this frozen watermelon daiquiri keep you cool when the weather is hot!
